Cybersecurity Program Management

The STIGroup Managed Security Operations (MSO) practice maintains a team of skilled engineers to support 24x7 security operations management, administration, monitoring, and response services at the network, system, database, and application layers of our client technology environments. Our MSO team ensures that actionable situations are detected, reported, and mitigated as efficiently as possible utilizing a combination of open source and commercial software packages and custom monitoring tools.

Our MSO team receives security alerts that are analyzed, investigated, and reported based on severity. In addition, in depth security console reviews are performed on a scheduled and as needed basis to identify trends, capacity issues, and performance bottlenecks. Technical security analysts are assigned to ensure all service level agreements (SLAs) are maintained, and open issues are tracked, reported, and addressed effectively. Security event consoles are reviewed on a daily basis and as needed, for trend analysis. Monthly reporting of all attack investigations and system generated trends data are provided to clients and reviewed during a monthly security review meeting.
